The Sharia Economics Study Program is a center for the development of sharia-based economic and business science that is superior, innovative, and globally competitive. Our main focus includes the halal industry, sharia entrepreneurship, waqf management (Nazhir), and zakat (Amil), based on responsive, adaptive, productive, trustworthy, and humanist values.
We are committed to producing graduates who are competent, noble, and able to compete at the national and international levels. This study program also encourages the strengthening of research and community service that is broadly useful and relevant to the needs of the industrial world and stakeholders.
Supported by a technology-oriented education system, modern organizational structure, and dynamic campus facilities, the Islamic Economics Study Program is present as a reference in Islamic economic education at the national and global levels, as well as a strategic partner in the development of sustainable Islamic business.

- Producing graduates who have expertise competencies to be independent to be accepted in the job market and become entrepreneurs who open up jobs at the national and international levels both for themselves and others.
- Producing human resource graduates who are superior, able to compete on a global scale, independent and have noble character focusing on halal industry, sharia entrepreneurs, Nazhir wakaf, amil zakat based on responsive, adaftif values, upholding productivity, trustworthy and humanist.
- Increase the number of research, community service and publications of reputable quality at the local, national and international levels according to needs and can be utilized by the community and stakeholders.
- Realizing subsystems: people, structures, technology, and organizational processes, through education, teaching and service with graduate competencies needed by the industrial world on an ongoing basis.
- Providing facilities, facilities and infrastructure to support a dynamic campus life atmosphere and oriented towards the interests of the community and stakeholders for the future.
- The fulfillment of the competencies of graduates of the Sharia Economics Study Program, namely having sharia business leadership skills that are integrated with information technology following halal product supervisor trainings, graduate competencies that focus on industrial halal, sharia entrepreneurs, Nazhir waqf, amil zakat in a sustainable manner towards and benefitting the community and industry stakeholders as the output of higher education.
- The realization of increased capacity of lecturers and students in sustainable Islamic economic research activities, achieved through measurable qualitative and quantitative indicators, within a period of three to five years.
- The realization of sustainable community service activities in accordance with community needs and business opportunities, achieved within three years, by involving policy makers, stakeholders and the community.
