Indo Global Mandiri University continues to open opportunities to explore cooperation with all national higher education institutions in Indonesia. This time, the IGM University team led directly by the Rector of UIGM, Dr. H Marzuki Alie, SE, MM conducted a comparative study as well as exploring a cooperation agreement with President University, Cikarang Bekasi, Monday (17/02/2020) yesterday.
During the visit, which was received directly by the Rector of President University Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, the vice rectors and other leaders and staff at President University received a warm welcome and provided information about academic developments on the campus they manage.
According to the Rector of IGM University, Marzuki Alie, this comparative study visit was carried out to see firsthand the academic atmosphere, and everything that can be used as a reference for UIGM in an effort to improve the quality of human resources, the implementation of the Tridharma of higher education, and the development of universities in the future.
“This is important for the development of education at IGM University in the future. We need a reference and comparison material. Of course, we will absorb it if it is good for the quality of student education and our learning methods later,” said Marzuki Alie.
During the visit, both parties also agreed to collaborate in implementing the Tridharma of higher education which was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the Rector of President University Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto and the Rector of UIGM Dr. H. Marzuki Alie, SE, MM.
President University was chosen for this comparative study because this university is one of the private universities that excels in producing quality graduates and is able to be absorbed by the world of work and create jobs.
“Of course we hope that this collaboration can be a means to exchange information in the development of educational progress in their respective universities, can conduct internship programs for both students and lecturers, research collaboration, joint publications, and other activities that are beneficial for the progress of their respective universities,” he said.
