A Bachelor’s degree in Government Studies is highly sought after in various fields and professions. Graduates of the Bachelor’s in Government Studies from the Faculty of Government and Cultural Studies at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri are prepared to pursue careers as:
Government Practitioners
This competency equips students with expertise in government affairs, enabling them to work in government institutions at the central, regional, and village levels, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), regional government-owned enterprises (RGOs), or as members or staff of national or regional election bodies.
Political Actors (Politicians)
This competency offers students the opportunity to engage in political activities, become political experts or figures, and participate in government affairs. Projected professions include political party members, legislative members, or expert staff for legislative members at both the national and regional levels.
Organizational Activators
This competency prepares students to lead and manage groups or organizations, serve the public effectively, speak in public, and persuade audiences in government programs or activities. Projected professions include founders or members of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), staff at research institutions, survey organizations, or consultancy firms.
Entrepreneurs
This competency provides students with the skills to build and run entrepreneurial ventures that produce goods or services with market value, ready for commercialization.
In addition to the career prospects mentioned above, graduates of the Government Studies program can also pursue careers as journalists, administrators, spokespersons/public relations officers, and in the private sector, as well as continue their studies at higher academic levels.
