Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Library (Perpusnas) RI.
This collaboration is a part of the collaborative program to improve human capital and the quality of education in the community. Academic Community is expected to play an important role in educating the young generation.
Vice Rector III of Planning and Cooperation of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM), Prof. Erry Yulian T Adesta, Ph.D. said after the signing of the MoU, Universitas IGM will focus on optimizing the Work Program in line with the National Library, specifically at Universitas IGM.
He said this MoU was carried out to make our partnership with the National Library run formally and officially.
Additionally, Universitas IGM will optimally use the library and information resources at the National Library to benefit the UIGM academic community.
This is our opportunity to improve the quality of the Universitas IGM library, whether it is book references, human capital, or literacy owned by the Universitas IGM Library, to become a trusted reference source for anyone, he concluded.
Previously, the National Library (Perpusnas) signed a cooperation agreement (MoU) with 11 universities in Jakarta on Friday (07/07/2023).
The eleven universities are the Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum, Universitas Indo Global Mandiri, Akademi Bakti Kemanusiaan PMI, Politeknik Negeri Bali, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung, Institut Agama Islam Yasni Muara Bungo, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Universitas Nahdatul Ulama Yogyakarta, Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Indobaru Nasional, STIKES RSPAD Gatot Subroto, and IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.
