Students from Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) participated in the Capital Market School, organised by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Investment Gallery in collaboration with PT Phintraco Sekuritas.
The event was attended by prominent figures such as Sundari Ningsih, a Capital Market Consultant from IDX, and Buja Andrikisa Putra, a Branch Representative of PT Phintraco Sekuritas.
The Dean of UIGM’s Faculty of Economics, Budi Setiawan, Ph.D., expressed hope that this programme would further emphasise the importance of investment platforms for the future. He reminded students to be more selective when choosing investment instruments, especially given the increasingly complex dynamics of the capital market.
According to him, Indonesia’s capital market, overseen by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), provides a valuable opportunity for students to learn directlynot just through theory but also by practising trading hands-on.
Budi stated that activities like this serve as a crucial moment for students to bridge the theory they learn in the classroom with real-world investment practices.
