The Urban and Regional Planning (URP) Study Program at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) prepares students to become experts in designing and managing regional and urban spaces. Established in 2018, this program is the only one of its kind in South Sumatra, with a focus on regional planning, urban development, spatial planning, and spatial information systems. The program is accredited with a B rating and collaborates with various government agencies and professional associations, offering students extensive opportunities for practical experience through internships, training, and guest lectures. Graduates are awarded the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (S.P.W.K.) degree.
To produce young planners who are outstanding, professional, and integrity-driven in their knowledge and application of technology in the field of regional and urban planning, capable of filling existing job opportunities and creating new ones.

Planner
- This competency equips students to think strategically, innovatively, and critically, prioritizing the interests of the community in the regional and urban planning process.
- This competency enables students to prepare documents and present the results of the planning process.
Decision-Maker
This competency prepares students to make decisions in the planning process based on the chosen approach.
Program Developer
This competency enables students to translate regional and urban plans into policies, programs, and action plans; assess the feasibility of programs; and evaluate their implementation from technical, environmental, economic, socio-cultural, financial, and institutional perspectives.
Evaluator
This competency prepares students to evaluate the input-output process in the implementation of planning programs.
Facilitator
This competency equips students to facilitate the regional and urban planning process, using appropriate approaches, methods, and techniques.
